ANOTHER EDITION OF THE FAIR IN XIAMEN

Poland is not the only country in which the growth of stone import from China is so fast. It is nothing surprising then that the largest exhibition in China is getting more and more important every year. This year Xiamen Stone Fair is going to attract 1430 exhibitors from 52 countries.

We need to pay respect to these figures, because it seems to be more than at Verona fair which Polish people like so much. It was strange, however, that there were no Polish exhibitors at the fair because we do not think that Poland has only local aspirations. Perhaps the motto of the exhibition ?There is no better way to buy? suggested that the only thing we can do there well is buying. According to the information that we have recently received, for sure we can do there more than just buying.

The first Polish company which is going to show its offer in Xiamen will be the laureate of our main prize in the Kamień 2011 competition, that is ?Pamir? company from Warsaw, widely known as a large manufacturer. Intrigued by that fact, we asked the owner of the company, Mr. Paweł Bereza, about the sense of exhibiting in China. He answered shortly: If all Poles I asked said that there was no sense in going there, I thought this might be something new and beneficial, so I have to do it. When Pamir was making, as the first in Poland, facades with the use of Italian travertine, at first everyone was also saying that we were crazy.

Because we think that this is not going to be only about serving Polish sausages and Polish sweets on the only Polish stand, we will have a closer look at it. We are going to inform our readers about it after the fair in Xiamen.
