BE THE MASTER OF SANDBLASTING!

There are just a few days left to this year?s edition of the international stone industry fair Kamień-Stone which is going to be held between 9 and 12 November in Poznań. Świat Kamienia warmly invites everyone to join the Master of Sandblasting competition which is going to include skills competition for stonemasons.

The competition, whose winner will be called the Master of Sandblasting, is addressed to all people who would like to show in public their skills in sandblasting letters and ornaments. The competition task is going to include sandblasting a stone as quickly and as good as possible. The one who is going to sandblast a print on the slab the fastest and the best will win. The participants are going to use the dustless sandblasting machine SANDMASTER PRO made by Abra company.

The time trial competition is going to include all stages of creating the so-called inscription plate ? from its design by means of Corel, cutting out letters on a plotter in sandblasting foil, until the final stage, that is sandblasting. All of this will be performed in public so that everyone will be able to enjoy this exciting competition. The winner, who is going to be awarded the Master of Sandblasting title, will receive a diploma and a prize in the form of several rolls of sandblasting foil HARD worth 1000 PLN (ca. 250 euro). The thickness of the foil he will choose is up to the winner.

Kamień ? Stone fair in Poznań, attended annually by more than 300 exhibitors from the whole world, attracts many visitors and is, undoubtedly, the largest branch event in Poland. It is worth joining to cooperate in this interesting event which will surely attract the attention of a large audience. The competition and its results will also be shown at stone portal www.swiat-kamienia.pl, in the January issue of Świat Kamienia and in Gazeta Kamieniarska.
