Akemi company has prepared product specifications for over 10,000 types of natural stone.

Thanks to the Internet, all the information about the choice of the specific product can be found within a few seconds. On the website we can also find a stone conservation guide. The user specifies the name of a stone and its parameters (application, the type of the surface finishing, etc.). After giving all the required information there appears a table with results showing various proposals of using the Akemi products designed for cleaning, gluing, impregnation and stone protection together with a predicted efficiency of 1 litre of a product.
Mapei company, on the other hand, has introduced a multimedia guide of ceramics and natural stone assembly, which is available on the company website. The advantage of this guide is a quick access and quite a lot of information. Apart from the general advice, Mapei also recommends products from its own offer for each type of stone. The guide includes 19 different assembly systems. Among the system solutions there are, for example, tips how to install large-sized tiles on the rough surface, how to do a quick renovation of a stone facing exposed to heavy loads, how to install a damp sensitive natural stone or art mosaics.
