A concrete fountain, a wall and some gravel paths in the Square of the Silesian Piasts in Piława Górna will be replaced by the floor made of granite slabs, pavements made of paving stones and a stone fountain. One of the most important stone centres in Poland will finally get its stone signature. The first stage of the project will have finished in November this year. The total costs of the project will amount to 280,000 PLN (ca. 70,000 euro).

Apart from the pavements and the fountain, the project includes the illumination of the fountain and creating the system responsible for spectacular water effects. The reinforced concrete construction will be finished this year and in spring it will be encased with a stone facing. Then, the fountain will be started.
The revitalisation programme met with a positive feedback from the local stone companies. Due to their help to, among others, give the paving stone, the idea to create a representative place for stone industry in the town centre will come true. The new fountain will be built of geometrically shaped stone lumps. Its surroundings will also change. The paving stone covered pavements will be leading to the fountain.
