The change of the date of the Vitoria Stone Fair l Marmomac Latin America 2017 to June turned out to be no problem for exhibitors. They managed to present their stone-related products, machinery and latest stone technology.   The international marble and granite fair, which ended on June 9, brought together more than 300 exhibitors from 20 countries.

According to the president of Sindirochas, Tales Machado, Vitoria Stone Fair plays an important role in promoting Brazilian natural stone products. This event attracts stone industry representatives from different countries. This fact strengthens the position of Espírito Santo state in the global stone industry.
In the first quarter of the year the stone sector traded USD 277.4 million in Espírito Santo. Last month the price of marbles and granites rose by more than 6% when compared to the same period last year. In total, the increase is 1.31% compared to 2016.

“This year we had for the first time buyers from Vietnam, Russia and Belgium,” said the director of Milanez & Milaneze, Alberto Piz.
In spite of changing the initial date of the event (which was caused by riots in the streets of Espirito Santo and the whole state), 90-day intensive marketing actions in main strategic markets turned out to be successful.

Henrique Tyrone, Marbrasa's commercial manager, added: “We had visitors from Brazil, China, Latin America and buyers from the Middle East.”
The Victoria Stone Fair | Marmomac Latin America is organised by Milanez & Milaneze, a company of the Veronafiere Group, and promoted by the Union of Industries of Ornamental Stones, Cal and Limestone of the State (Sindirochas) and Technological Center of Marble and Granite (Cetemag). This event is also sponsored by, among others, Caixa, the Espírito Santo State Government, Findes System, Sesi-Senai, Sebrae, Abirochas, Centrorochas, Marble Institute of America, Confindustria Marmomacchine.
