Globgranit - how to be successful
We visited the headquarters of Globgranit in Pilawa Dolna exactly a year ago. We went there once again to see the changes which have ocurred since our last visit in one of the most rapidly developing stone companies in Poland. We are talking to Mr. Marek Sadek and Mr. Tadeusz Maliszewski who manage the company.
Swiat Kamienia: What direction is your company going in?
Globgranit: Many things have changed since our last meeting. The plant in Nowa Ruda has been launched – the line for the production of modular tiles is being built there.

Magemar Polska is preparing its new headquarters
A historic vessel THMP Bembridge came to the shipyard in Szczecin. After the restoration it will be a new and original seat of Magemar Polska company as well as a special decoration of the Szczecin shipyard. The vessel will be moored in a duty-free area near the granite blocks yard. THMP Bembridge was built in Smith’s Dock Company LTD, South Bank, Middlesbrough, UK in 1938. It started to be used by Trinity House company in London in September the same year. Since its early days the vessel has had the name Bembridge London on its aft. By the year 1971 the vessel was used as the first British ship (produced in Britain) which transported pilots who were responsible for entries and departures of ships to and from the shipyard. It also used to transport lighthouse-keepers to their lighthouses. The vessel has a great and rich history.
